Who is Roosevelt Brown?
Roosevelt Brown is a retired professional baseball player who played outfielder in the Major Leagues from 1999-2002.
He played for the Chicago Cubs in Major League Baseball and the Orix BlueWave in Japan during his tenure.
Roosevelt won two “Triple A” Pacific League Batting Titles and was the perfect combination of a player who could hit for power and average. Roosevelt won the 2001 Pacific League Batting Title with an incredible .346 average with over twenty homeruns. Roosevelt ended his professional career with a batting average of exactly .300 over ten professional seasons. After retirement, he served as a hitting coach with the Atlanta Braves at Double A, Mississippi.
